Two RaceDepartment.com servers are up and running

Hello ovalfans,

I have some good news for you all. Since today we have two ARCA Sim Racing servers running under the name RaceDepartment.com.

Have fun and if you experience any issues. Please report them here

It looks fine from within the server,
The ARCA server is the only server being used at this time on the server box, How high pings are we talking?

Pings are arounf 120 to 170ms each player

Though Honestly I cannot see a problem. For me the connection is brilliant. Depends if people also set their multiplayer connection to Cable speed in the settings

Yep those sort of pings should not result in a problem with this game engine if anything like rF, Looks like a busy server

Everything is fine with the servers. I`ve also talked with Bram on Phone to setup the server acting like an OPen Server without Yellow Flags, shorten Practise Time, Qualy Time etc. So that will hopefully not annoy people anymore to drive more under pace laps than under racey conditions.

Just had a 35 laps race at Milwaukee and met some DMP Racing guys. Sadly it was an Open Server that was set up wrong so from 35 people only 4 stayed on track and i´ve won that event. ROFL

Open Servers are good to have only fun. Closed are good to run seriosly with skilled drivers who know how to treat this sim. Hopefully see some of you guys tomorrow again. ARCA Sim Racing is a drug to me. I´m really hyped and so far satisfied of my expectations I had about this sim. Simply amazing stuff TSF did

Server #1: configured for public racing
Server #2: hardcore full mode with racing club password (more info here)

RD Server #1 seems to be crashed or not running. When i´ve joined, a minute later I got kicked after that a rejoin is not possible "Join timed out". I can access other servers without a problem. Maybe i´m wrong but hopefully some of you can just check its status? Thank you!

Then maybe the server has me in the ban list or so. BEcause I cannot understand why all other open servers are okay to join except RD #1. Odd. Well I try again.

Nope it still says 2 drivers online and it still runs Nashville. Is that correct? I still can´t join!

Never before. But now it works again. Strange. But it seems more americans online than Euros. When I come noone is there. Everyone must be frightened about me. LOL
