HELP - Game wont start!

Hya,

Screaming for help, i have an issue.
After the long wait finally i just installed the game, but it would not start, every time just the graphic configuration menu is popping up whe i start to laucnh the game. I set resolution, everything, then the widnow disappears, but instead of launching the game the same graphic setup window is popping up with all the settings restored to default. And this goes on and on and on.... I tried already to restart PC, nothing happens.

When i launch just the ARC Config file form the root installation directory, then the same graphic setup menu comes up, but with remembered my settings what i choosen.

Any help????? I cant start up the game....

if you run Vista which i guess you do

1) Right click on your ARCA.exe
2) Select: "Run as Administrator" (should be your 3rd option from the top)

Run as Administrator can sometimes fix these sorts of problems, unfortunately I have the same problem with GTR2 unless I use the nocd.

I also remember reading that some SATA DVD drives can be troublesome, though I'm using ARCA with a SATA drive no problem.

yep, thanks Simon and also James in pm, running as admin sovled the issue. not a good start, hope Daytona will compensate it....
