Default Club ARCA - 25 May 2008

We are going mad again. Another "Day Of Thunder" takes place. After we run a successfull 100% Daytona race, the teams are now heading their equipment to the legendary Talladega Super Speedway. After the successful win of Mr. Gareth Hickling last sunday, will he have again the chance to win? Or will it maybe Mr. Roy Stevens, who was supposed to be the winner at Daytona, but unfortunately his car took a serious suspension problem, forcing him to retire!

Be prepared for this event as it will again another Day Of Thunder!

You make a good argument - especially since the race will probably be boring.

Hmmm... I might make it to Dega after all.

Had great fun... Apart from my occassional lag spike .

Stayed on the back of Rob as we caught up to and collected Christophe into a three car draft. Caught Sascha and Roy with some nice team work and then all got taken out in an attempt to pit

Christophe then showed no loyalty to his drafting partners [NASCAR driver in the making ] and took off with Sascha on the restart. Talk about cold. Leaving your friends behind because you found a cooler, faster friend.

Will have to do that again. Much prefer Dega to Tona.

Yes and next time iīll put this stuff again in the Racing Club. I just have chosen this way because of the regular RC password. I wanted to attract people on this way by spreading out a password NOT used by the RC so it couldīve been possible to have more people on board. Next time will be public again. But I doubt we will then can run a Full Flag Race. Many people do treat open servers as Pickup Race Servers only.

I really really hope that more European people will get this game as the majority are still americans, thus making it impossible to get a descent field together, be it closed or a public server.

That would be really nice Mark

But honestly itīs the fault of The Sim Factory. I donīt understand why they are not making some commercial cooperations with big european based simgaming communities like RaceDepartment to increase sales and to get ARCA RE/MAX better known in Europe too.

If this game wouldīve been a NASCAR game, I really think that we wouldīve had more luck so far

+1 Sascha... I dont get it either. Maybe they just don't want this game to be popular outside the US!

Digital download seems like an obvious oversight as well. Can't understand it. I buy all of my Microsoft FlightSim software by DDL and I would never consider waiting for a boxed version to make it from the states.

Huge booboo. But then again - Microsoft do stupid things like that with the X360. Some of the most popular titles are only available in the US.:brancard:
