should have not cheer so early...trying to install this this patch and it doesn't detect my game....even when i see the program searching true my installed arca game

Try putting the patch exe in you main ARCA folder, I have heard that fixes some searching problems. Vista?

Im not quite sure then Christopher?

Maybe a re-install of the game may help.

(btw i have the game installed on another location than the default one though....H drive for me instead of C drive)

Still it should work if you ran the installer from within the game directory.

Did you download the DVD-1128a patch or the 1128 to 1128a patch ?

Maybe there's a difference there, havn't tried it yet so I can't comment

strangely it doesn't install from my game directory..
maybe if i restart my pc it could install then.....i will check later on

I really don´t get it where you guys always got those strange installation problems? If your game is already running V1.128 you only need to download the incremental patch which is 116MB is size. For people that have ASR newly installed and unpatched, it is advised to download the big 320MB patch which patches the DVD release version up to 1.128a.

I guess people are running the installer under Vista. If you don´t have full admin rights, it is advised that you execute the program as Administrator. Also try to put the patch installer directly into your ARCA Remax installation folder and apply it from there. It should install without a problem!

Lee. The patch contains several bugfixes incl. the Daytona Qualifying Fix and the new Rockingham Speedway Track.
