Arrow Do you actually own ARCA?

Just wanted to get an idea of the number of people that actually have a copy of the sim now. Especially since 30 people have so far said they would be interested in a series - but we haven't yet seen 30 people at an ARCA event .

No copy here, and as far as I know, it is not available in Australia.

I have a *special* copy that doesn't work online...

Would consider purchasing it if it were a bit cheaper and on steam.

Yes - TSF really need to discover digital delivery! Hmmm... :wonders how we could overcome this problem:

Got it. I race it exclusively now. No more NR2003 for me. Don't want to get into iRacing since I finally got over playing MMO type games with monthly fees.

If 100s were shipped to Australia then they must have been shipped to the crapiest most unknown shop in Australia because I can't even get it. I've been interested in Arca Simracing but I have to import mine from the U.S. because no one seems to sell it here.

As I don't get the time to browse around all the racing sims and see what they're like, what do people who have this game think of it?

Petros Mak,

We do ship to Australia, but cannot vend there due to contractual license agreements on models and tracks for some. You are correct in that there are many there racing and purchasing the sim though, so local lans/leagues should be around.

I see, well I've odered mine from the USA and importing it because it is a game I really want to try. So far all we've had for stockcar has been Nascar 2003 which still is a good game, so it will be great for me to see how Arca fares up as many people are telling me great things about this game. I've been really on edge to try it so hopefully by the end of this week I'll have my copy. Then I can give my personal review to it here.

I hope you don't take me the wrong way. I'm not the type of person who likes to bash companies or anything of the sort as I also run my own. When it comes to racing games or a game I typically want to try, I am very open minded to my judgements of the game. I feel that I am the most pickiest player you will find that will wonder why certain things were left out etc, but I accept each game for what they are, but I don't rule out what they could have been like some do.

Heck, I still play old super nintendo racing games in 2d and love em, so I'm really open minded in gaming and virtually play anything once to see what I think of it. I am hoping to be surprised with Arca as it was one of the sims I was aching to buy when it came out. Unfortunately I had to import my copy but the good thing about that is I import over 90% of my games anyway so it wasn't something new to me.

I hope it will live up to my expectations however, I would like to wish your company the best of luck in any updates to Arca or even future products, I will be keeping a close eye on you guys to see what you produce next.

I appreciate your comments, and surely hope you enjoy the sim. I will have to disagree on who is pickier, since I know exactly what we have done to bring this title to you , and you'd be hard fetched to be worse than our own group. ;)

You'll find certain things missing like music, videos, animations and stuff as our focus was and still is based directly on "feel", realism, and the ability to use this sim in a manner to aid and better yourself as a driver in the real sport of stock car racing. We were just like you in the beginning in our interest to better the current delivery of racing simulators around stock cars, and I really feel we have it licked for now.

We will do our best to continue improving all aspects of the sim, expanding the user base of race simulation, and enhancing the capabilities overall of simulated stock car racing for a long while .....

Thanks again for your support ...
