"Opel" Astra finally in the US?

I may be mistaken here......but it seems that GM finally brought the Opel Astra to the US market, but not under Opel brand. The US version of Astra falls under the Saturn brand (just like in Brazil or Latin America the Astra version falls under Chevy brand).

Jep that is the Astra for the US market

If you didn't knew, Opel is the European name, Vauxhall the English and Saturn the American name for the same brand

The Saturn Aura is the Opel Vectra in Europe, the Saturn Sky is probably the Opel GT and the Saturn Vue looks like the Opel Antara.

not really to Saturn is Opel
because Saturn brand exist already for more 10 years if not mistaken with it's own models (a friend of mine used to drive one of those models around back then....pretty nice car/engine).....but i guess GM did it more to let Opel brand infiltrate the US market via the Saturn brand by giving other names for the car models
