Any of these computer designed new generation tracks would do (to be the
less liked one), thank god only very few made it into
Race/
GTREvo (my driving game of choise)...
In those, the corners just don't flow, one goes around and starts to think: "
Who the f%&# put that corner there?", "
Why in the hell that corner closes?" "
So those guys on the expensive stand can see me in the litter kitten?”.

I dont like Estoril much. That tight chicanes are very stiff and its a trick circuit at general.

To drive in
Estoril was (and in most part is) fun, it is a classic 70’s design, but yes, that “
stop & go” chicane…
Was (and is) the dumbest thing to be added to the track (I’m sure it is one of the slowest corner around the world in non urban track). On the other hand, the old “
tanque” (
Tank) right corner, was dangerous no doubt (3rd/4th gear no room for error), but was a proper corner and the car could arrive unbalanced to the final “S” (before the parabolic final corner). The first corner was also dumbed…
To make a long story short,
F1 (with its all powerful lord
Sir. MM) who run there in the late 80’s early 90’s, demanded alterations on the circuit (the damn chicane was one of them), they were done, and when they were ready (a few millions after),
F1 never returned to
Estoril as its wasn’t their commercial interest… now every competition who runs there has to put up with the damn “
F1” chicane they never used
But yet,
Estoril is a “racer’s” track, unlike
Valencia (for instances), who is a “spectator’s” track and to a racer it might feel like a
Kart track.
As a spectator I would go 10x more to
Valencia then to
Estoril… as a racer (like we at least virtually are in here), give me
Estoril any time (even with the damn chicane).
