After seeing the pre-qual I am a bit afraid about the speed everyone has. The M3 league I did at RSC was already very difficult. The standard was really high, but this pre-qual with the Vertigo is whole grp 1 in 1.2 seconds.

My personal hope is to have a good and fair race, and no game freezes.

No expectations for me for this round. Normally when i have the time to practice i can be in the top 3 with this car. But with the organization of the V-WTCC i don't have the time to commit to league racing really. So i am relatively happy with my prequaly time after a few laps. But i have no race pace at all. So i hope for a consistent race tomorrow.
From this place i wish everybody lots of luck and even more fun tomorrow night!

League season is finally starting:party0009:

Still hope you wont lose interest in your hobby over this (temporary) new job. Many people walk into these kind of deadtraps. Anyway, have fun tomorrow.

If it goes as it used to in M3 league, we'll create a two car train with Ramon after a start and race together to finish. Now after prequaly, it seems that there may be some more racers joining it, so welcome. :bike:

I seem ok with practice and quali sessions but race pace is still a black zone for me I hope for a clean race with a top 10 finishing position, but in 90 mins anything can happen so fingers crossed for me at the moment

after the 1st day of pre-quali i strugled to get into the 1.11`s, and after over 110 or so laps my best was a 1.11:669, but on lap 123 of 123 i managed a 1.11:456 and 28th pos :jumping:

to be honest, that felt like a race win, so i will be happy to finish and keep it clean and have fun

Group 1:

Practice:
Went well but no real driving there, had to help a few guys with problems.

Qualify:
.2 faster then my Pre-Qual and 4th spot on the grid. Very pleased.

Race:
Entered grid. Just before the clock was 0 everything froze.

I've had it. No Racing again anymore till this 8800 vs ISI issue is finally fixed.
Really thinking about signing out of all leagues right now, but will sleep a night over it and maybe even reinstall PC. Grrrr.

CONNECTION LOST! :ambulance:

2nd on the grid but was 1st out of turn 1. Then I quickly noticed that I was quite a bit slower on top speed and had to battle to stay in 1st - eventually I lost out 3 times lol. It might have been due to my strategy but I wasn't going to see how things worked out as the message CONNECTION LOST ended it all.

yep that really sucks Ramon

I was annoyed that i got disconnected on the quali session after getting into a rythem, then i got back into the session with 9 mins left and got held up by lots and lots and lots of traffic. I got 5th position on the grid but I am sure I could have gone faster

Race started well, some really great battles with some of you for the 1st 6 laps or so then I made an error coming out of the chicane - totally my fault as no one was around me And to top it off I as i spun I stopped exactly on the racing line and got a nice rogering by an orange car - sorry for being in the way, not much me or you could have done to stop this happeneing (apart from me not spinning in the 1st place!!)

This damaged my car quite severly but i carried on regardless. My pace up the straights now was shot to peices and the cornering was pretty pathetic too I got eaten up by pretty much every one behind me and made more errors as tires wore and grip got even worse. More errors meant more crashes and more crashes meant more damage, more damage meant less grip, less grip meant more errors, and more errors meant more crashes and more crashes meant less speed, less speed meant more drag due to damage and finally last but not least more damage meant BANG - the engine gave up like ive never seen an engine give up before and thus ended my race completly smoke was every where, oil was all over the track after T1 and finally I stopped my poor little Vertigo up by the wall. I got a lift off a marshall on a moped back to pits and sat in Team DMR's pit garage and cried myself to sleep

Anyway enough bullshit from me, I hope you have a great race, and thanks for 6 laps of really really intense great driving

Now the pub beakens me to drink some beer and drown nastily in my own sorrows!!!
