You like the Brno track?

I used to ask this question every time before a race on RPM. So now let us know what you think about the upcoming race for the GT Championship; Brno.

Highslide JS

The Masaryk circuit named after the first president of Czechoslovakia, Tomáš Masaryk, now referred to as the Automotodrom Brno, is located at Brno Czech Republic.

With 13 turns, 8 right, 5 left and a total of 5.4 km it is the first track opening the Racedepartment GT 2008/2009 championship.

The historical track led through the streets of western part of Brno and neighboring villages. The current track was built in the second half of 1980. The first Grand Prix race, the Czechoslovakian Grand Prix, was held in 1930.

It should be very interesting for GT races. I hope for a good event.

Default one of my favourites

decidedly one of my favourites, two reasons:
a) had a brilliant fight there once with Petra GTC in the first RPM Race06 tournament
b) there is enough room for a Blueflagger to be passed by the fast guys

I don't love it but I don't hate it. It's ok. Made my debut on this track in 2007 with Race 06 on a Lan Party with friend.

You have to find a right set-up and rhythm to drive here. Looking forward to the GT Championship.

I don't care for it. The layout is nice, but I can never find good grip here.

Hate it, I mean it . It's one of the tracks I really, really don't like to race on. Almost every turn is terrible imo, only the midsector is ''ok''.

Bit of both for me...

It's great for competative racing. It's a wide track and you can overtake in most of the corners. Good fun in that respect.

I just don't like driving on it on my own. It feels as if nearly every corner is off-camber and never really gives you the feeling that you can drive around it comfortably. It's challenging though!

Don't like the track at all, I find it really hard to be consistent and do fast laps

TBH no ... I have been there to watch MotoGP and thoroughly enjoyed that, but never clicked with it when driving myself ... as Ben said, find it hard to be consistent - think last section is the "Achilles heel" for me ... maybe different in a GT, will try and see if I can learn to love it

There will be no prequaly (see rulebook) this season... Only 25 dedicated drivers per group (GTP, GTS, GTC) and that's it...

I don't like it, nor do I hate it -it's OK. In all the races I've had on this track, the field gets so stretched out that I always get the feeling "I'm the last person alive"...

Kind regards,
Karl

Any car make rules being imposed? (Thinks of everyone driving BMW's in Club class for example!)

I like it if I have a RWD car, with a Seat in the league it was just awful.. Although I did manage a 2nd place in Race 2.
