Looking for a reason to dust off your GTL DVD? It's here, the Porsche 935 by Team 21

Team21 & Friends have released their Porsche 935 mod for GT Legends, bringing one of Porsche’s most stunning racecars to the historic racing simulation.

Racing in the Group 5, the Porsche 935 was a very popular race car on both sides of the pond, feeling right at home on the Nordschleife and at Daytona, at Le Mans and Mosport. The car’s turbo-powered six cylinder engine put out up to 590hp.

Until 1984, the 935 won over 150 races worldwide including all major 24 hour races. Drivers like Jackie Ickx, Rolf Stommelen, Klaus Ludwig, Bob Wollek or Paul Newman will be forever linked with this car and now, you can join them! Beware, the car is a real challenge though, coming from a time when racing was something for real men and the traction control was the driver’s foot.

The release brings us a full field of legendary Porsche 935 entries, including notable teams like Kremer, Joest and Barbour Racing. A rFactor version of this mod by dmatzies will be coming soon.

This is really an extreme race car, way beyond my skills

Even the AI has trouble controling these beasts, Team 21 did a very good job simulating the turbo engine characteristics.
