Try moving or deleting the zipped versions from where they currently are.

Worked for me.

EDIT: On second thoughts, dont delete them as i think i had to reinstall them after moving. I know very little about computers so dont blame me if it cocks up lol

tracks wont be overwritten i am pretty sure but the player file and profile stuff you have to save manualy same for your controller file you have to back up it manualy
if you pull everything outa race07 (customskins, customtracks, any other modification)
did the error still appears?

Sit Rep:

2 cars from one skin showing up annoying when trying to make video and double cars show up.

Removed all skins so only standard skins are in-game.

Went in-game

Moved skins to another folder waiting to be put back in.

Used one skin as a guinea pig to see if it worked.

Skin still came up twice.

Tryed a different skin to see if it was that one that had the problem.

Same thing happened.

About to restore Race07, but worried about losing all my stats etc.

looks good to me

go to userdata and make a back up of your profile, controller file and of the setups
not sure about the exact files just back up the whole userdata folder
never had to do it

then reinstall but move befor the customskins and customtracks to a save spot
after you reinstalled fire up the game with just one skin and test
if it will work proceed to add skin after skin if it will not work i am clueless

may someone with better knowlege about ISI engien based games can jump in with a bit help

Could be... the skinpack works fine - all i can recommend would be to delete all your custom skins and then re download the FD and WTCC skinpacks and just use those.

no that looks good too
probaly you have to go throug every skin you have installed and check the .ini for a duplicated driver name as james was saying earlyer realy last i can think of

Yeah but when I put 1 skin in it doubles no matter what the skin is!

if the game is totaly vanilla it should 100% not happen check your .plr file for dubble entrys
i saw someone got trubble with replays on vista and the .plr file was messed up
may the path for the skins is messed up

You have made a custom team in the teams folder as well as placing your skin in the custom skins folder if so theres your error.

Yout skin is being loaded twice because its loading the skin from your Teams folder and then the one from your CustomSkins folder you cant have both. (Can't have your cake and eat it)

I didnt make the skin, its all the skins combined.

I also have no Teams folder just A Custom skins folder.

But you could be on to something
