Default Window?

Whenever i try to save my windows in DDS format Photoshop says there are to many channels to save.

I'm a bit of noob at photoshop! Any help would be appreciated.

hi, just flatten the layers before saving and it will work.

As Yves said but with bit more detail. Goto your top layer and then hold down shift and click it then scroll down to your last layer and click that. All your layers should now be selected Right click on your last layer and from the menu select "Flattern Image" a popup window will appear asking you if you want to "disgard hidden layers" slecet yes and then contine to save as a DDS as normal.

Jarrod, i think you made a typo in your first line

You can just right click any layer, as long as it is visible and click flatten image - it will work fine as long as you discard hidden layers. Then just save as a DXT5 with no mipmaps if its interior windows, and with 6 mipmaps if its exterior.

thomas you can also just add empty layer to the template and then use background from layer
that way it works too
