How can I make this image transparent so only the logo shows?

Download from the link Jarrod posted, unzip it. In there will be an .eps file which you can open with Photoshop.

They're vector based images so they can be resized without losing quality and have a transparent background.

Thanks simon and Jarrod. Trying to put a 7up based skin together on a Mini or SEAT.

Keep an eye on webchantier.com as well, Lee - got some good logos there, and some are more up to date than on logotypes.

Might be worth noting that with some vector logos, you'll still have a white background when you open in Photoshop.

Options are to either open in Illustrator, ungroup all items and delete the white 'box' that is the background - then re-save as an EPS/AI file and open in Photoshop. Or alternatively, as has been suggested, either extract or use the magic wand in Photoshop to delete the white from the layer.

As an aside, make sure 'Contiguous' is ticked so that it doesn't select any white within the logo, unless of course you want it to when removing white.

You can skip a few steps there, Matt - After you've deleted the 'box' in Illustrator, you can select all and drag straight over to Photoshop - it'll come up as a Vector Smart Object
