i have a problem with the windows template for the audi r8 there is no propper alpha channel if i add one and use the layers of the supgroup "Alphachannel" the front and back windows are ok
but the side windows and lights are plain black ?? any change SimBin will fix the templates and make them like the Race07 templates with infos where to mirror a decal
and propper Alpha channels

figured out with teh alpha channel i used the one from Pavels 3ds scene.
was trying to change the weel color and while i was trying i found out
you not realy can paint the weels
there are 3 colors preset

-wheelcolor=1 *Silver*
-wheelcolor=2 *White*
-wheelcolor=3 *Black*

that maybe differs from car to car (example is based on the Audi R8 GTP)

Same on the Aston Michael - shame we cant paint the wheels completely, as then we could see some very good and interesting skins.

yea and the cherry on top of the cream would be if we could paint all 4 weels seperatly
like left front weel green, right front weel white, right rear weel white, left front weel green
even only front and rear seperatly would be the burner

Yeh - i really wanted red or red and black wheels on the Aston i painted last night but had to just settle for the black wheels instead. Another thing i would like would be some shapes in the templates - e.g for the Aston they should have the coloured bits that go over the windows and the coloured bits that go in the front grille. They also didn't include any GTR Evo logo's in the templates as far as i have seen, whereas with the WTCC ones they have the Race 07 logo's. The WTCC templates also contain the coloured bits for some cars - like the stripes on the BMW's. It would also be nice to know which bits i need to mirror - especially the windows as it can be a bit annoying doing the windows and alpha layer then finding when ive checked ingame i need to do them again. Some parts aren't that obvious - mainly the wing endplates for the Aston as i couldn't find them for ages. Its actually just a rectangle of carbon that is huge in comparison to the wing, but the parts that had the holes in for the wing didn't display logo's when i put them on them.

i don't know exactly, but if you go ingame, in a race, go to car setup, then files, then on the bottom you have the name of each car, so you can filter the setups.

you just have to find the bmw extreme and write down what's the name of the file

i've seen pictures with cars with green wheels.

is there a list with all the wheelcolors? we just need to write it in the .ini file, right?

Ok so far there are only three main colors listed: "Silver","White" and "Black".

But with that said I would suggest playing with the INI around the "wheelcolor=" line just try differant numbers if you notice a dufferance note the number. But I have a feeling that your choice is limited to the three.

As for the Extremes all bar the Chevy should be stright forward:

*Small Note - It would be nice if Simbin gave us a more complete readme in the custom skins folder, or at least gave a fuller one for download.

Okay, in the Audi R8 GTP, can anyone tell me where the rear spoiler is located? Is it the large black shape on the Left side of the psd file? I just can't seem to find the stupid thing. I want to add lettering to the top of the wing and side-plates. Can't seem to make them out, I will have to check in game to see if I added my logo correctly.
