Default help please

as i try to save the skins that i make as a dds file it says "too many channels to export (5)" does anyone have any ideas what i am doing wrong?

Merge all your visible layers together then go to Layer > New > Background from layer.

Then save as DDS.

you can even skip merge layers and just add a new layer mark that layer and then background from layer will work too

You all seem to go the long way round, Right click any layer select "Flatten Image" from popup "Disgard hidden layers" go to file "save as" selcet dds. Wham bam have a brew find a girl, get married have two kids and smoke me a kipper Ill be back for breakfast ...

Heh, that's long way for me, well just don't like it, maybe way I said is noob way lol, but I don't skin often, usually try get other people to do it, horses for courses.

cheers for the help guys <3

having problems getting it working in game now its just doesnt want to work i followed the tuts but still cant get it to work >.< god i am noob xD

i think its because the file used for the tutorial of others i have seen says configuration settings where as mine says text document i named it bmw_tutorial.ini as the tut said but it says it should warn you about file extension where as it doesnt :S

Ah if your INI file. When you goto save goto save as and change from text file to all then name it "Whatever.ini and click OK it should save as an INI file now.
