Default Helmet Design Finalised

Well... its been a long time in coming. For nearly a year now I have been trying to get a helmet design i was happy with.

I wanted it to have british colours and include the "skipy" nickname i have long been associated with.

Many attempts came and went but here we go the official unveiling of the skipy helmet design which i will carry forward.

(drum roll please jarrod...)

http://race07.skipys.co.uk/

dah dah!!!!

On the helmet you will find:

Veltins - "Sponsor" of F.E.A.R. of which I am a driver
B&L - "Sponsor" of F.E.A.R. (and my employer)
LYNX - stops me sweating while driving and makes me smell of chocolate (www.lynxeffect.com)
Simbin - for producing some cracking racing games
i3d - our server hosts
RD - with out this community I would still be stuck in BF2142.
www.skipys.co.uk - my website.

I think I can now move onto the next project.

Nice design dude ... you had better talk to your skin designer not to change team colour schemes as its taken a year to get this sorted ... I read earlier he was thinking of blue on there instead of green

BTW ... why write only one p in Skipy, or is it said "sky-pee" not "skip-pee" ... or is it my spelling that is bad

Long story short... (more is on skipys.co.uk in the history section)

KP <-- initial

KP Skips <-- crips

sKiPy <-- the nickname stuck combining initials and the crips.

better than nutty i suppose

Thankfully the main design will stick now even if the sponsors change on the helmet.

and yup... its skip pee as in the bush kangaroo

I'm using it in Race 07 and plan to use it in GTRe too but see there are some issues with the skinning on some of the models. If I ever manage to get a bike then I always said I'd get a custom helmet too.
