On the 19th of September the video game that the whole Swedish racing community is talking about, STCC - The Game, will be released. Already now you can get a preview. Today the games home page goes live with a good dose of information and bonus material.


The Swedish hard rock band Mustasch is make the music, Swedens premier video game developer, SimBin, is making the game and now the home pageis released for Swedens hottest racing game – STCC The Game. Meet the premier racing drivers and their teams in the ultimate racing league, STCC.


When SimBin called and asked if we wanted to provide the music for a racing game I right there and then answered: -Sure, thing (although with a to silly expression to translate). I'm am a period gamer and this is like being asked to write the theme music for a Bond movie, says Stam from Mustasch.

On the official home page of ”STCC The Game” there is information such as an introduction video, wallpapers and screenshots.

- This is incredably exciting and you get goose bumps when you se the material that SimBin is releasing and with the music from Mustach. It's like standing at the grand stand during a real STCC event. The 19th of September we get to drive it ourselves, says Bob Huzell from STCC AB.

About STCC – The Game: STCC is Scandinavias largest championship in motorsport and STCC – The Game is the official ”Swedish Touring Car Championship” game.


STCC – The Game speaks to everyone: The main class STCC with well known drivers such as Janne ”Flash” Nilsson, Tommy Rustad, Fredrik Ekblom, Richard Göransson and Thed Björk. The is also some sliding yank tanks in Camaro Cup and a massive package with other racing classes from SimBin.


STCC – The Game is a Swedish production made in cooperation by STCC AB and SimBin.


STCC – The Game is based on and contains all contents from RACE 07.


All in all: - 29 unique models in 11 classes such as the Audi A4, the Volvo C30 and more. - 25 tracks, thereof 8 Scandinavian such as Mantorp Park, Våler banan, Knutstorp and more. - Multiplayer mode with up to 25 people online. - Race against the clock, either your own laptimes or against other peoples. - Authentic rules from STCC and WTCC. - Also contains other known classes, such as Camaro Cup, WTCC, Formula 3000 and much, much more..

Ah, this I have been waiting for more eagerly then GTR Evo. Thought it wasn't going to be released until november or so.

Seeing the Gothenborg track will be fun. Although It wasn't that great watching but i liked the tempo. Just as i do with Falkenberg, Mantorp and Knutstorp.

I know, however swedish very well. Which was strange for once reading here!

Wow! This is going to be nice Dont know if i should get Gtr Evo or the STCC game... Love to watch Stcc on our Swedish tracks, but dont know how they are to drive on
Although, with Dynamic Weather and pit stops it would be a hell of a nice game! 55 laps on Falkenberg, what could be better

Actually if you look at the promo video there is a mercedes (16 secs into the video), why it is not listed tho??

Well from what I saw, the merc was only there for like half a sec...maybe it was just included in a pic of something else they wanted to show because those pics were taken from real life STCC.
