Because to run the game you first have to open steam. On my PC steam takes longer to start up than the game itself. Then you have the fact steam sits in the background chewing up about 60mb of ram. And lastly I find steam games a bit more buggish, alt+tabbing out of steam games seems to confuse my computer compared to alt+tabbing out of non-steam games.

The advantage of steam is that here in Australia we can buy games via steam at US prices, which are usually far cheaper than buying it in Australia. ;)

Fair enough - i don't really have a problem with steam... its quick and easy to use and while it uses some ram, i have enough left over for other things.

Weird how you cant seem to alt+tab out of steam games properly... ive had some problems with Race 07 alt+tabbing in the past though.

So how about the liveries of the cars? Are they all gonna be fictional?
I can't see any text about official FIA-GT license and stuff so I guess it won't recreate the official FIA league.

Does anyone have more info on this topic?
