MoTeC in time attack mode

hi,

does MOTEC log Data in TA Mode? I cant find MOTEC Data about TA and can not analysize Laps due the PreQual Session, because PreQual is running in TA Mode...
Data will be logged if i race in another mode, but no Data in TA

Is there a solution?

thx for help/answers

Its been ages from i've used motec but I think TA is the only mode it doesnt record in. I remember struggling for ages trying to config it then tried practice instead of TA and the motec output worked.

I guess it logs always, no mather what mode you are.

If the plr file settings are right you should get the logs.

Look for the following in your PLR file and edit to suit local install

Code:
Data Acquisition Version="0" // Version of vehicle data to write out
Data Acquisition Rate="10" // rates 1, 2 ,5, *10*, 20, 50, 100
Data Acquisition In Race="0"
Data Acquisition EXE="C:\Program Files\MoTeC\i2\1.0\MoTeC.exe"
Data Acquisition File="C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\skipy@skipys.co.uk\race 07\UserData\vehicledata.spt"
MoTeC LogFolder="C:\MoTeC\Logged Data"
MoTeC Minimum Time="20" // minimum MoTeC recording time (sec)
MoTeC Multiple Logs="1" // generate unique filename for each new log
After that you will find it will log during practice (and i think quali)

You can log in race, but could impact race performance (see Data Aquisition in Race)

After you've got a bit of data fire up motec and start a new project. load in the files created in your practice session (make sure all are same circuit). Once data is loaded you can mess around with the oodles of info in there.

I'm still relatively new to this so main looking at whats my best time I am capable of if I get the lap perfect but theres lots more in here! Enjoy.
