on play.com they mention a price of $19.99 for the full version. seems pretty cheap to me...

about the same prices we're used to for race 06/07.

I'm curious to see whether there will be a steam promo for existing race 07 users, like the caterham pack.

that would be asking a little much, since this is heaps of new content, don't think so. On the other hand, with the pit strategy included in the latest Race update (if I am not mistaken ...) it might just be an option. Let's keep our wheels crossed.

Hi,

I see the release date is published as 14th August but i can not find a site in the U.K that has the date advertised or price so are we not going to get this on time as usual.

Had a quick look on Gameplays calender and it is not on the release dates for August or September ?, even Play, Amazon dont have a date for this?

Amazon has the 26th of August but that was an old estimation...it's August 14th...(edit: in Germany at least).

plus, let's just say there are people here who have inside links to SimBin, so they know what they are talking about.

Remember that Germany will get it before everyone else, as has been the case for most (all?) Simbin titles in the past, so take that 14th with a grain of salt; although I don't think they'll have exclusivity for that long. The Steam release date is, as far as I can see, unknown at this point.

That release date was always for the German version guys; some people just selectively read the "Atari..." without the "... Germany", or assumed that Germany = Europe.

Remember, Race 07 came out on Steam a whole two weeks after the German date; and that margin was even bigger for previous Simbin titles.

Oh well so it seems in the U.K we will play the waiting game just odd that nobody seems to have a UK release date especially if the release date is not to far behind Germany.

Guess i will have to wait for the email from Play to tell me when it will be released i guess

Hmm those dates are never 100% accurate (more coincidental), but everyone is banking on the 14th...

Sure about that but I have very good experiences with this shop as when they stated a date for the release of a game, they did not just send it on that day but I already got it that morning. But yeah, it's still not a 100% guaranteed.. but let's look at things positive

Here in Finland some shops have allready priced both update/expansion and full version of GTR evolution.
