Nice time for the F360, it really is alot harder to go fast on Zhuhai with it, the difference between the RSR and 360 is one of the bigger gaps here, good job

1:36.00x with 40 liters of fuel, so I can go much faster.

EDIT: with the Porsche.

1:45.xxx F360 Modena. (Still learning and improving...Slowly)

Admitably I do not know this track so well, and I need to address the rear end happy charistics on my otherwise good setup, but Zhuhai does not look like it's very Ferrari friendly...

GTC is slower than normal F360 Modena due to GTCs front splitter

already drove 1.32's, but i lost my motec/replay/setup data on a weird computer problem

the trick in zhuhai is the 2end/3rd corner, and your exit speed on the sharp hairpins, dont try to brake to late, go for exit speed!

1:39.649 - F360 Modena -Online RC server

I was pretty impressed, although I doubt the Modena can go too much faster, and certainly not significantly faster in my hands.

As for James' comments about the GTC being slower than the Modena...Sorry! The extra horses in the GTC offset any perceived short comings at Zhuhai. (I tried in a GTC and always beat 1:38.xxx Ironically with the setup I'm using on the Modena) Maybe in the hands of a pro'. Perhaps!

Indeed the trick is to brake slightly sooner than you normally do, and aim for the high exit speed.

In the Immortal words of Sir Jackie Stewart;
"Your exit speed is more important than your entry speed, and never touch the accelerator pedal unless you plan to plant it into the floor!"

my fastest is 1.35.7 the rear steps out like crazy and front cant ride kerbs due to front splitter being massive compared to modenas smaller front splitter i cant see any GTCs making group 1 atm

im not a F360 man, so no idea if that is right, but it felt good to me

(quick downshifting on the F360 is a big nono too!)

And thanks for the compliment Jacco!
