Yellow Flags - Safety Car

Hiya, we have our own dedi server, and we currently have 2 leagues running happly.
Anyways, onto my question, we cant seem to get the safety car out, not that we want to, but we have tested this a few ways by having a pile up on the track and waiting..... :ambulance:

4 cars were left ok, and only recived yellow flags when getting close to the accident, could some one point me in the right direction to get this working please?

You can try full course yellow in the dedi server to have the yellow flag shown whenever a car is in trouble on the entire track

Hey Bram, thanks for the post, im looking at the server currently, where do i make these changes?
Not forgetting that the safety car is yet to make an apprerence.

I had this Full Course Yellow thing in GTR2 working. But that was only in offline single player mode, not online! In the PLR file you will find a Safety Car threshold value. I think it´s set at 2.00000 or 1.00000. Set this value let´s say to 0.25000 and write protect your PLR after that so that GTR2 cannot modify the PLR file. Hop into a single player race or championship (don´t forget to have Full Course Yellow turned on), do a crash with several cars involved and the Safety Car should enter the track.

This worked for me at least at SPA Franchorchamps once. But please don´t ask me for support if its not working cause my tests are nearly 2 years old. Maybe it was a random circumstance that it worked for me. Maybe it will work for you but the support of Full Course Yellow was NEVER officially supported nor discussed, only by the community!

If you don´t write protect your PLR file, the game will reset the Safety Car values again! This alone shows that it isn´t officially supported! But feel free to unofficially test yourself as good as you can. Maybe you have success

Maybe also try making the server playerfile readonly??? Maybe that works also.
