Although GTR Evo is imminent I am looking forward to Version 2.0 of this mod, keeping the GTR2 engine alive. Not sure how it compares to the HistoriX mod to RFactor but Version 1.02 of PnG is so immersive, I actually prefer it over GTL. Anyhow there is a blog over at GTL Workshop on the development. Fascinating stuff with some lovely sounding audio of the engines.

I was going to check out this mod ages ago,then found i needed a copy of GTL that i didnt have back then,now i recently aquired GTL i think i might have a look at this mod,the rF historics mod gets raved about by those i know who have it,im thinking of delving into the world of rF too sometime soon,one can never have enough simming!.

I absolutely love the PnG mod - had to rebuild my system this week and first thing I put back on that was GTR2 with PnG.. the thing I love the most about this mod is the handling of the cars, improved sounds and very accurate information they're gathering and implementing in the development of the very different cars.

Just wondering if we could get a little race going with PnG? *hint* *hint*

Yeah, I think that's gonna be a blast considering all the info found in their dev blog.
But I wouldn't mind a race with the 1.2 either.. it's great fun already.

Have you installed the vintage buttons and backgrounds as well and made a separate installation? That's what I did and for me it feels like a complete game. The overall feel of this mod is just superb and feels soo sixties!

There's no need for me to convert this mod to Evo as the physics have not much in common with default gtr2 anymore - and it keeps the loading times very low (I'm not really sure though if you actually meant a version for GTR:Evo.. never mind.. hehe)
