Dont fiddle too much with your ingame settings. I ran GTR 2 with all the ingame settings on default (only speed sensitive steering to 0%).
My G25 wheelsetting are mostly the same only i have the centre spring ticked and the rotation on 400 with 23 wheellock in game |

Do you not want to use FFB within the game? I would turn down the spring effect and damper effect to 0% in windows. Then in game change the settings to low with 100 % FFB.
In the GTR evo section there is a discussion on FFB and how to tweak. |

I also have G25 with spring, damper settings at 0% AND FF effects LOW in game to dampen the canned effects. If you search around the internet you can find plenty of GTR2 G25 profiles to experiment with.

I also have the G25 and got it for the force feedback capability as I thought that this would give me a more immersible experience. I played around with the setting for months, researched a bunch of different sim racing sites, but was never really happy with the results. A few months ago, I decide to turn off ffb all together and set the centering spring force to 120%. I am much happier now.
