I dont have any expectations at all
I have missed most of the league, was only able to do the first race at Watkins Glen. I did 3 prequaly laps to just set a time and have no experience then 10 laps yesterday. I hope i can assist my team mate Yoeri and keep up with him too ![]() |

Ouch, and my last GTR2 race ended exactly as my first one two years back: disconnection all the way!
Because of this bug and so many other annoying little creatures in the game i am done and finished with it. Bye bye GTR 2 and bring it on GTR Evolution! |
|
||||
|
I enjoyed little moments of racing,then big spells of lonely boredom,i actually almost quit out about lap 20 or so,as my mind started to wander due to boredom
,ive been slowly falling out of love with GTR2 for a while now tbh,i was in no way bothered when the crappy engine let go for the 2nd time on me this dreaded series,GTR Evo can not come soon enough.... |
|
||||
|
didnt even make the start i was hoping for quick fix for something with System restore and now it has only just finished... a good 3 hours waiting

man what a way to go for me
got my first pole in the series......and went on for leading all the way but i was scared the last 30 min. My pc was looking like it was going to freeze again or crash.....then as it started to count 30 min....my sound went away....the last 20 min i had some hickup freezes.....and then after the race, quiting the server my game crashed lol....what a way aaannnd Yesssssssss......i've got a win .....it was hard trying to not touch sand or spin, passing lapped cars, saving tires, and trying to create a big gap between me and Yoeri.....qualifying was also hard, as i battle my time with Ramon all the way to the finish lol....at one time he puts a better time, then i put a better time..... either way it was great fun tonight....shame the series came to an end and i guess congrats to Roy Carless.....i think you won the championship if my calculation hasn't failed me ![]() oh btw....I was laughing what you put in the chat Gary....that was funny ![]()

Fantastic Quali battle with chris. A few thousands between us. I think I almost reached my prequal time.
Race started not well, just before the race I remembers I was uploading a dvd and had to kill it. The run made my out of focus for the start of the race. Resulted in a spun in the chicane. Lucky to not hit anyone I got back on track from 10th position. What a track, almost no possibility to make a safe pass. Was stuck for ever so it seemed. Then I saw people making mistakes too and I was just in a nice steady rhythm on track. Received a few give away places and had some good battles with the Flatout team; thanks for the fair fight. Around 30 mins before end I reached the top 3 again and finished this way too. A bad start was suddenly a very good end result. Congrats to Christopher who was an alien this race, what a laptimes mate! Also grats to Yoeri of course, 2nd place finisher. And of course every other driver for racing very fair, no serious issues this race. Thanks anyone participated in this league. Was fun to drive, shame I missed 2 events, but I think I still finished in top 5 overall. Now its time for me to say goodbye to GTR2 and look forwards to GTR Evo and other games.

Congrats to the podium!:alla:
When I for once did not have any expectations on the race I actually got my best result overall. I was not especially comfortable though racing in the dark with such lousy headlights..way to crappy for any traffic situation in darkness. And most annoying was the automatic flashing at cars ahead without me wanting so. Am I imagining things or the flashing lights is a fact? Well well.. Like Gary I got slightly bored after a while but suddenly things got more action-like when we backmarkers started to swap places back and forth. I managed to finish 12th. And nice to see you on track again, Nig! Thankyou RD for providing this Cup with included hot stuff memorable ![]()

Yip Grats Cristopher, excellent race fella...you ruled Valencia!!
Also congrats to Roy Careless for taking the championship!! My race was tbh, aweful. Qualied ok, nothing special, but my setup in race did not like having medium front tyres and was off the pace. Wish now, I had pitted instead of doing the whole race as it was just not enjoyable to drive, plus the couple of mistakes was not good. But a big thankyou to Race Department for hosting the league, and letting us FO Boys race!! |

nice driving from you Roy, i think the car suits you well.
![]() Qualifying went ok for me as i hit a PB twice and both when i stuck on more wing so i did the same for the race and went with the wing at max. I had a pretty uneventful race, i was happy with my pace for the first third of the race but that last corner started to work on me as it hurt like hell and 2 or 3 times the wheel slipped mid corner and i dropped a wheel into the sand on the right. ![]() The track i love apart from that last corner it just ruins it for me but some of the other corners are just great but it is a very hard track to pass on as the line is very important so as soon as you start having to defend then you start loosing lots of time.I will miss these races as they have been fun so thnx all for the races. Looking forward to a wee rest now :character0053: before the new season of races start at Flatout, and if any of you guys want to join us then you know where to find us.:banana120:

Nice one Christopher great win.
Grats Roy for the championship, amazing drive throughout the championship. :party0018: Nice drive from all Flatout guys, first 3 places in the Teamchampionship. WOW :banana122::banana122::banana122::banana122: For me it didn't go so well, Got a electric Power cut few minutes after i joined the server. Seemed my powercable is cut through completly. They did a emergency repair and connected me to my neightbours line for the moment but by then the race was finished. Off all nights this had to happen right at the last race. :sign0007: Well better next time alltough i can't complain it was a great championship, thx for organising this great championship. Loved it.

Whoohoo, second podium in a row! Quite an interesting race for me. This was the first time I tried without a pitstop and I liked it.
I tried to save my tires during the first 70 minutes, constantly being affraid I wasn't going to make it. But it went pretty well. Luckily for me my pace in safe-mode was still good enough to maintain second position and when I finally felt safe I started to push it! With no success... it actually brought Ramon dangerously close in the last 10 minutes. Second in the end. Good stuff. 7th in the final standings, with 4/6 races run. Not bad. Gratz to Christopher´. Very impressive, consitently beating the rest with 0.5s a lap. Gratz to Ramon as well. Very nice recovery. Gratz to Roy and the Flat Out Club. Great job on winning the championship! I hope to see you all in the next championship in a couple of months. Thanks for some great and competative races!

Got a PB in Quali but still only 12th so it was going to be a tough 1 as I needed to get a top 5 finish to stop Ramon getting the top stop as I knew he was going to be quick. After a few laps a few peeps were spinning so moved up the order. This is a difficult track to pass on and the backmarkers did a great job to move over as quick as they could even if they were in their own battle, many thanks guys.
Well thanks for all the thanks guys I enjoyed this very much. Many thanks to Race department for all their hard work in running this series. Looking forward to the next one. ![]() ![]() |
