G25 problem with iRacing

I just got my copy today and i've got a small but very irritating problem. When standing still and on the straights my g25 wheel is shaking alot. I've had the same problem in rfactor but I could resolve it by taking the force feedback strength down to 50. I've lowerd it to zero in iRacing but it's still shaking. Please help me!

Ive not had the problem myself so the only thing i can suggest is check all your setting and recallibrate. The settings i use are.

In game controllers
900 degrees of rotation
101% force feedback strength
everything else 0 with centering spring enabled

In sim calibrate your wheel exactly the way it tells you ie: full lock to lock then 90 degrees to the left or right cant quite remember. It should report 900 degrees at top of calibration page.

I use 9 force feedback in the sim.

If none of this helps check the iracing forums there are a load of threads on configuriing a g25

I cant get to calibrate my wheel doing the quick start setup guide after installing,a box pops up but it is all solid black,does it have a wheel calibrate and setup section ingame?.

yea join a session and up at the top right youll see garage and setup or options.
In option's you can callibrate the wheel and shifter and set all the graphics preferences

Almost got my wheel feeling ok,its not easy with my way less than 900deg rotation,i find it to be a bit sensitive and twitchy for my liking,but i have been experimenting in wheel calibration and i can get it a bit better with trying different positions for the 45deg calib,im sure this sim has been made with things like G25's in mind,and not my bargain bucket Saitek R220 non ffb....

my g25 is fine now. I downloaded new software and now it works great.

Which software version are you running, cos mine spikes a lot too in iRacing, fine in other games. Tried the 5.02 drivers but they left a dead spot at centre

Im running 5.02.116 but i dont use the logitech software at all just the drivers. I dont think ive got a deadzone in the centre but the steering is lighter around the centre, all input is registered though.

Im running Vista x86_64 with the 64bit drivers

Yeh, thats what I meant, didnt like it so went back to 5.00.

isn't that realistic the shaking if u think about a real car the steering wheel will shake on startup and on straight when ure going through the gears a real wtcc steering wheel will shake a bit because of the engine torque

just a suggestion.
