ok my pc is old but does the job

will an extra 1GB help my framerate (stabelize it)
i just wanne play games till next year :p

i know the pc is running on his last lives but i just wanne get true the next 6 months before i get a full new system

I guess this system is still AGP so buying another videocard is possible but you need an AGP card and this cars will be useless if you buy a new motherboard.

Adding RAM i should do in your situation when i got it for free.

It will not boost your framerates but XP will be a bit faster, don't expect a miracle.

I think it is better to reinstall your OS and update all drivers and play with a clean system for the time you have this system, i think this will boost more frames then adding 1GB RAM.

yhea i thought it would be beter to just make a clean start again
but i'm a bit short of backup hd space
thats why i hope for another solution

and yes its AGP thats why i dont wanne get another GFX card

well when RACE 07 is here i will do a clean install thx for the help
