Default My cockpit project - Maik

Today I really started with my RaceSeat..
Here two pictures and more to come..
PS: don't pay any attention on the mess!!

-------
Update 1 > 06-01-08

What did I do..
I took a deshbord of a Renault 5 GT Turbo.
I took a R5 GTT seat
I took a R5 mid. console

First thing i did was:
Cutting the R5 GTT deshbord in peaces so the G25 fits wel

Second thing i did was:
Messuring the distands between the peddels and the seat.
Messuring the highed of the seat by messering the highed of the adjustable peddels.
Try it out and messure again until it sits good

Thirt thing and last thing of the day:
Cutting the Desh in half so i've only the left site of it.. (no picture yet)

----------
Update 2 > 08-01-2008

Today i bought some wood and some screws @ the Gamma.
Tomorrow i'm going to screw some things together

---------
Update 3 > 09-01-2008

Hele hola, a nother day go's by.
Today i did some messurements and i did screw some things together.

My Pedels are on the correct position now,
My Seat is on the correct position and i did messure the correct hight for my steering wheel.

Next time I'm going to build a little desk to mount the steeringwheel on.
Then I creat something for holding the deshbord on his place.
Building a little table for my upcomming 24"

Ojeah, next time new pictures.

--------
Update 4 > 10-1-2008

Did screw some thing together and this is how its looking right now.
See RS4.jpg and RS5.jpg

--------
Update 5 > 11-1-2008

Did went to do GAMMA today and did get some screws and other things to mount the wood together.
Tomorrow I'll move the whole building package to my own home and finish it so I can drive the Quali of the MiniCooper Tournament.

Very impressive Maik.
You'll never get it registered here in Australia though, unless you move the wheel to the other
