yes, thats true... lol

but also my VPP rack monitor stand says NOOOOO, since it is simply not fitting to it, i checked it now, anything wider then a 19" 4:3 ratio monitor is not possible to screw onto it... so at least now i have excuse for my mind to say: no Atti, this you will not upgrade to...

p.s.: unless i make some home made extension for it to support wider monitors too... hm....

... hmmm I have 3 x high quality 22" monitors in the house all running at 1680x1050

Can you get nvidia sli graphics cards working with a th2go?

... think if I take this any further, there may be divorce on the cards

I think for the TH2Go does not matter if it is a single card or SLi, you need just one DVI output connected to it, and thats it, from where it gets the power to run all those megapixels is your deal...

Hello Gents.... new here and trying to find a place to start posting. Here's my rig. It's not my design but rather based on one by Bob Dunlop. Still a WIP.

Frank Don't your eyes get a bit funny.
I have a 37 inch TV I would go cross eyed if I sat that close.

Frank is that a Hannspree TV?

This is an experimental position. Hard to tell from the photo but there is a TV stand behind the cockpit that the tv normally sits on. I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep the LCD or move to a triple head setup with 22" screens. The thing that bothers me about the triple head is the bezels between the screens.

Yeah, I used 1 1/2" ABS. PVC is more sturdy than this ABS stuff. I wanted it to be black though, so I went with the trade off.

You can get the picture digitally corrected for bezel management, and the plastic monitor frame, well, beleiveme, during driving you will not even realise. I love that set.

Hi Frank

Could you please post a picture with a side-on view. I am keen to use your idea to build myself a cockpit. I don't want to have my LCD attached to the cockpit but on a seperate desk in order to move the cockpit when nessasary and I think your idea will work perfectly.

The MkII Sofa got a small upgrade this morning. My Lightning SST finally arrived to replace my G25 H shifter. The G25 finally gave up the ghost H shifting a week ago, thankfully it's sequential function still works.

Anyhow, Logitech couldn't/wouldn't replace the shifter (being 20 months old and out of warrenty) and the wheel and pedals are still top notch so, after a few overtime shifts, I thought I'd go for it.

Set up was a piece of ...erm...cake. Plug it in (Vistax64) and drivers auto downloaded. How easy was that??

So far I've only done few laps of Nords in an R8 and a Caterham 260 and I love it. First impressions are very heavy (already reinforced the desk with extra screws) but very, very well engineered and built. The shift is very precise, the initial feeling of the close gating is actually a bonus, I've had to relax and just let the spring guide my shift home, and it does every time.

Yet to test on GTL (Marseille v Liverpool tonight) so I'm off to give it a go now (Turagua a week tomorrow.) So, here's couple of pics (seating removed.) The sofa is becoming a very nice place to drive in.

Cheers.
Simon

PS The only drawback I've found is that I've become inexplicably drawn towards the Frex website, spending a good hour gazing at their goodies with my credit card not far away!!

Very cool Simon, as I said this morning on the Stats server, am most jealous ...

That last Frex part sounds like it might take more than "just a few extra" overtime shifts to pay off tho'

Yup, going to hide my credit card, get drunk and, hopefully, forget where I put it.

Wow Simon, looks like you will be whizzing past me in GTL now.

Good to see the gear shift on the correct side too.

I assume you can now use both shifters, and as a result you can map more hotkeys to the original G25 shifter, and keep the new one for shifting.

Thanks Frank.
It looks like that is one project I am capable of completing myself.
