Omega driver install

Hi,

Just a short question: i downloaded an Omega driver for my Radeon 9800 video card, how i need to install it? Do i need to have first installed the original driver (Catalyst 7.1 is the latest), and after that the Omega driver, or just the Omega driver cleanly, without having the original Ati driver installed on the PC?

I think the default drivers of ATI need to be installed before adding the Omega drivers... I think that's the most logical :?
But I must say, I don't have much experience with ATI...

Hmm... Solving lag... you can try.
The Omega drivers are actually an alternate set of drivers for you graphic card. There are more options you can set with the Omega drivers.
I think you should try it out Pure... You'll never know

De-install driver by add remove programs
Use drivercleaner to remove the rest from old driver.

Reboot in safe mode with F8
Run drivercleaner again
Reboot in normal mode
Install Omega drivers
Reboot

I installed this Omega driver, and i can say that there is a visible improvement on performance. OF course not as you would buy a new video card, but graphic performance is definetely better.
