Its this pc (zoom in too get a better view) : http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/9389/bbgjulieq4.jpg This one is about 2000 euros, but maybe i will change the XFX 8800 gtx card for the Club 3D Version, its 50 euros cheaper and the difference isnt that much. If i sell my pc for 400 euros then there is 1600 euros left, luckily i have the oppurtinity now so im gonna buy it soon. But i also want to hear ur opnions.

DONT DO IT MAN !!
lol, panic stations mate. WAIT, for the love of god wait. DX10 WILL, and im serious, will require a QUAD CORE CPU. Notice how some DX9 games need a dual core CPU to get the added DX shaders to run ? COD 2, Colin Mcrea rally 4 and 5 ? Hmmm. Plus ATI are to release their DX 10 chip, and i can promise it WILL distroy Nvidia in every way as Nvidia are going down hill in a very big way. DDr 2 ram, hmm you WANT, and again YOU WANT 4 GIG to run DX 10 games under vista. Vista alone is a 2 GIG operating system by itself. Let me explain. Vista uses up about 700+ meg, ok. So 1 gig is usless so you think ok, ill get 2 gig. Well how many DX9 games out now need 2 gig of ram to play ? pretty much most. XP uses at boot on average around 200+ meg or there abouts. Back to Vista. You know for sure that DX10 games will want 2+ gig of ram. No use getting 3 gig as then you WONT get dual channel working, thus your best off and pretty much need 4 GIG. Ya with me ? All up, the only way to upgrade is to THINK directX 10 all the way under Vista. Now Vista as it is BLOWS chunks big time so no point getting Vista untill a service pack is release. Ive been waitng now 15 minths to upgrade and its killing me waiting as I normally upgrade fully every 8 to 10 months but I know that DirectX 10 will need - QUAD CORE, 4 gig DDr2 and the current 8800 DX10 Nvidia cards will go into meltdown when the first full on DX10 game is release. I hope ya dont think me being over sinicale ( is that how ya spell it ) but I just really would hate you to get a new PC, as great as it looks at the moment only to have it EXPLODE the first time you run a DX10 game ![]() ![]() Wait, save a tad more, NO DX10 game will be out for a long time yet, give it atleast another 8mths or even more. Thats heaps of time to save up and get a system that will ROCK. Oh, you will be surprised just how cheap a FULL Blown DX10 setup will cost when its mainstream. About as much as your paying for the RIG your thinking of getting now so dont worry about cost, worry about the future DX10 games proberly wont play at all on anything less than a FULL DX10 VGA card, and if it does it will roll right back to DX 7 or 8 just like COD does on a low end card. NEVER buy a pre built system, EVER. Always build it your self. 2 reasons are the pre-built system will more than likly be covered in "Warrentee Void if Removed" stickers. Not just on the hardware inside the box but also on the case itself so if you take the sides off to upgrade anything inside and that sticker is torn, beleave me you WONT get it off cleanly, then thats it Warrentee VOID. The other reason, SOOOOOO much cheaper. Excample. I see dell PC's everywhere, with 1.8 gig CPUs, 1 gig DDr , 180 gig HDD and so on, the cost is around the £600 mark. But a built one will be twice as powerful for £500. Also if you were not planning to get Vista that would be more stupid. ![]() Food for thought. But its upto you buddy but i will kidnap your pet goldfish if ya atleast think about it lolol im only kidding mate.Good luck with your upgrade which ever way ya go. Mikey. |

I don't understand why you want order 2 fans Noctua. In Sonata 3 You have one fan for the the box behind the processor and one behind hard drives. No more possible for the box. For the ventirad, the Scythes ninja has already a FAN included in the package.
But if you put a 8800 GTX you can not install the second fan behind the hard drive because the 8800 GTX is too long(27 cm) Also about the processor, the E6850 is a 3 Ghz CPU and it's relatively expensive(256€) Last saturday I bought a E6750 (2.66Ghz) that I can overclock at 3.6 and more and his price is at 175 €. Another think about the mother board choice , the chipset P35 is a crossfire Technologie, and with it you can install 2 graphical cards but only ATI AMD. For this reason I suggest you to buy a SLI mother board that it is compatible with NVIDIA graphical card. In the future when the 8800 GTX price will be decrease, you could add a second card and increase sinifically your system performance for the games. I hope to help you a little bit.

Well, two weeks ago i almost sold my pc so i could buy this one (i had to put some money into it ofcourse) ,maybe with some other parts. But after asking and exploring the internet about vista and directx10 i found out that it isnt the right time to buy such a system only for directx10 and vista.
Because there arent hardly any directx10 games out yet, i saw a trailer about crysis a few days ago tested on XP .Ok, when u have such a system u can play future games, but i really want a directx10 system so im going to upgrade my old system so i can use it for 8 months or so. Only when its mainstream and vista has no diseases anymore then im going to buy one. Tnx for ur replies
