Update 8 november 2008: The full Redistributable Version is now available and works without any problems.

DirectX November Update

Microsoft has released the November Update for DirectX. It is generally recommended that all Windows users update their DirectX for optimal performance and compatibility.

There are some download issues right now but it should be available soon if the link is fixed by MS.

would you say this is worth downloading if you already have direct x10?

Hi Ben, yess, always install these, it still stays DX10 but the files are newer so known bugs where removed and they add new features sometimes. MS comes with 2 or 3 updates in a year.

Update: This update appears to be problematic to install. Microsoft has removed the update.

Microsoft has re-released the November Update for DirectX. The previous release was faulty but the new version may also have some problems so for all who want to download and install them, it's at your own risk, i will updat this threat when it's safe to install them.

I have heard some about a few bugs in the files but i let you know if they are just rumors or they are facts, so I suggest to wait a few more days.
