MMM your close Mehmet, but not that close :p
Just wait a little longer and you'll know...

Why do we buy? euh!!

Because its time to build new rigs ( or isn't that a good answer!)

I tried to find a nice rig with good specs and it also had to be cheap.

I took one Antec Performance P182 case
http://www.antec.com/ec/productDetails.php?ProdID=09182

This motherboard with X38 new high end Intel chipset
http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/10/...t_1/page8.html

CPU Intel Q6600 quadcore which i will expect to run nearly 4GHZ

Scythe Mugen Infinity heatpipe cooler
http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/cp...scinf1000.html

Samsung Spinpoint SATA2 500GB disk, i already had one Raptor 74GB which will be used as a system disk and also one 500GB external drive as a NAS.

Corsair HX620W modulair powersupply
http://www.corsairmemory.com/products/hx.aspx

Two of these OCZ platinums total 4GB
http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...um_2gb_edition

I already had a Geforce 8800GTS 640MB running at 650/2000

Total price about 1044 euro's which i think is very very cheap for this components at this time.

The case is soo wonderful build and very very silent i advise anyone who want to buy a caes to buy this one because cooling is also very good.
Powersupply is mounted below thats a bigggg pluss, my cpu is 25C idle and on load it was 39C, with all cooling on minimum.

I am testing things out now, i tried Vista 32 bit, 64 bit and XP 32 bit versions. I also test which driver will be te best for me.

As i see my results i my OS will be Vista 64 bit, but first of all i need to test it more.

Well I don't think it's a good time to build a new rig atm...

At the start of 2008 AMD's Phenoms wil hit the market, on the "new" AM2+ socket. The new GPU of nVidia (G92) has just entered with the 8800GT, and some new models will follow (new 8800GTS/GTX and such). And I can continue for some minutes on this

But anyway: Looks like a good rig mate !

It's never a good time for building a new one. I know what's coming but the G92 is not what i want, it is to close to the G80 and it will not use the 8GB/s bandwith delivered by PCI-E 2.0. These cards will come i think at the end of 2008. Then i buy a new Graphics Card.

I don't want a AMD anymore, the now start 65NM delivery and Intel is on 45 already.

The new 45NM Phenoms only add a bit of L2 cache, this difference is not noticable, only measurable.

My mainboard is future proof for the next 3 years thats more important for me.

For now i think this rig will run the games i want like charm.

I hate it, computers are a worse investment but sometimes you need to hak de knoop door.

Yes indeed, its like buying a car that is also the worst investment you can do.

Btw,I have two samsung spinpoints 500GB in Raid 0 and it runs super fast and no sound . The GTX 8800 768mb i have is also great even the 640 mb is good. I have the Gigabyte P35-DQ6 mainboard and the Dual core E6850. For now its not even getting warm
