Default The perfect racing music?

Hi folks,

sometimes I am listening to music while testdriving online
and was curious what your favorite (music)tracks could be?

I think one of my all time favorites will remain

Metallica - Fuel

(guess nearly any Metallica song fits aggressive driving and feeling of speed)

for watching replays i got another favorite

Ted Nugent - Stranglehold

But some stuff from Chrystal Method, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy is also quite nice.
ZZ top is real cool while driving as well.

Just curious,

Lars :-({|=

I always listen to music when I race, although I turn down the music volume on my media player so that the car's engine noise is to the foreground.
I just stick my entire collection on shuffle to get a good mix but my collection is mainly various types of metal music inc. all Metallica's albums (guess where my nick hetfield2k came from!)

Somtimes that happens yes ... :-$

No I mean, when I'm in a agressive mood, I need some rock music. When I'm in love, I need some love songs... and so on. Get my point? :-s

I dont have an aggresive style of driving and the music that helps me is the Tri-State album from Above & Beyond.

@hetfield

yes, i think i can definetely call myself a rocker

Just some evergreen-bands to name (no priority rating):

Greenday
Metallica
Jimi Hendrix
Rage Against The Machine
Kiss
Iron Maiden
Bad Company
Black Crowes
James Gang
Led Zeppelin
Guns N Roses
Guess Who
Rolling Stones
Limp Bizkit
Bush
Ted Nugent
....

But I listen to very different kinds of music also,
like 60s soul, some oldschool HipHop, some Electronica but also singer-songwriter stuff for
relaxation.

I don't listen to music while racing. It's probably the only time I don't listen to music.

see last.fm/user/robutchka/ for what I listen to

See i prefer a quick beat like drum and bass or dance to help my driving style but sometimes a slow beat can help on a nice flowing circuit.
