Explanation needed please!

Hi All,
Ok, you will say I am asking stupid questions, but I am really not familiar with racing leagues ingeneral and having spent some time on this forum, I am thoroughly confused now... I have been looking for explanations but did not find any thread that covered all my questions. So it would be really nice if you could help me out:

1. I kind of gather that RaceDepartment is the place where all league activity previously held by RSC and RPM is now located, correct?
2. Shortly before the major site crash at RSC, I had made an application request for the Racing Club, and had been registered. Is that registration still valid?
3. I tried to access the RacingClub section of the forum but except for the application section, I am unable to see or post any messages. Why is that? And is there any activity at the moment in Racing Club?
4. What is TeamSpeak?? How do I get a login ID for that?
5. It looks like you need yet another login for the WTCC or Vertigo leagues, which I can get by registering to GPCOS, right?
6. Probably a bit OT in this thread but how do those leagues work, I mean not all 200 drivers are going to race at the same time so I am assuming some form of selection process?
7. A bit OT as well, but these leagues seem to use custom skins that hve to be uploaded to the server... How does that work? And can some post a link to a skinning tutorial?

(yes there is lots of activity in the Racing Club on daily basis, but you are not a Racing Club Member yet so you cant see all the sweet candies inside Please post your application and you are ready to join the fun as a full member)
4. What is TeamSpeak?? How do I get a login ID for that? (all details to be found inside the racing club, you need a password to log in to start talking to other members online, it is a communication program: voice chat)
5. It looks like you need yet another login for the WTCC or Vertigo leagues, which I can get by registering to GPCOS, right? (correct, those are leagues which require a GPCOS registration)

(in the league forums -> news section you can download PDF files with the entire league layout and rules. In brief you need to qualify yourself to race in our leagues and world championship)
