Since our forum upgrade we have thread tagging enabled. But it seems to be a feature not many understand or have noticed.
Thread tagging is a system that allows user to apply their own keywords (tags) to threads.
What is a tag?
A tag is
a non-hierarchical keyword or term assigned to a piece of information (such as an internet bookmark, digital image, or computer file). This kind of metadata helps describes an item and allows it to be found again by browsing or searching. Tags are chosen informally and personally by the item's creator or by its viewer, depending on the system. On a website where many users tag many items, this collection of tags becomes a folksonomy.
Tagging was popularized by websites associated with Web 2.0 and is an important feature of many Web 2.0 services. It is now also part of some desktop software.

Can i tag my threads?
Yes you can and please use it as much as possible. Summarize your post in a few tags and add them to your post, so searchengines have an easy time to index your thread, so others can have the benefit of it.
How to tag?
Very simple for every registered user of our forum:
- Open a thread
- Fill in a title as usual
- Post your content
- Add the tags using a comma to separate them
- Done
May the tag be with you
