Thread disappeared & question on forum structure

Hi,

I have started a thread sometime back around a setup up comparison tool, which, after the last reorg, vanished.

I am asking because I am still working on this and at some point in time I might post my tool (once it is complete). Last I saw it, it was in the Setup Guide forum in the Race Club for Race07.

Another question on the new structure of the forum. I have a little problem with the new Full Name rule, now if was looking around and checking and saw that currently nobody can open existing posts of people when they are not logged in themselves. Will this stay that way?

Youre second suestion isn't really clear to me: "nobody can open existing posts of people when they are not logged in themselves, will this stay?"

Thread: No, that's not the thread I was looking for. I went to the search function and listed all threads started by me and it does not appear anymore. The subject was something like 'setup comparison tool'

Access: Currently, when somebody comes to the forum without being logged in, (s)he can not open any thread/post and gets informed that he needs to become a member to read any post. And my question is, whether this is the final state.

I believe it has always been this way. One can't post without logging in. When trying to do so I receive this message:

And yes visitors have a limited amount of threads to view before they need to register. That is not something of the last racing club change but already a long time.
