Yes you need a GTL disk to install it.

You won't be disappointed in GTL either.
My take, only very early days though, I didn't find the driving model (physics) to be nearly as good as GTL yet.
Probably tied up with my G25 FFB settings which just don't feel good to me at all in RFactor.

We have put back the DL link in the top post.
Reason is that this mod is a hit !! The devellopers of this mod did what they could to get permission from Simbin.
If we get complains from Simbin the link will be removed again.
Remember you need the original GTL dvd to play the mod in Rfactor.
Enjoy

The Real Feel might be having something to do with that, personally i like the physics the cars are controllable without being in anyway 'codemasters like' if you get my meaning.

As for graphics, these things on the mid-ohio track, i'd argue was one of the best looking drives available on the PC.

So would that mean a possible event?
If so I need to by GTL

If there are enough ppl with the GTL dvd an event is always an option.

I finally got around to installing this mod this evening (like it says in the manual in a completely seperate rFactor install) and I love it! This mod combined with the Virtua LM Le Mans track just screams for a juicy time scaled event!!!
Good stuff, and I do like the handling in this mod better than in GTL... though I am still struggling a bit to get my FFB right.

I have spent a little more time with it, and it is growing on me. It looks and sounds impressive, and has some features that GTL doesn't have. If I can get the FFB feeling right, I could be converted. Spent a while testing the 1310 Mini since I am very familiar with these in real life, and the handling is fairly close, but no way does the steering go so light when driving straight and initially turning into bends. Real life Mini's are rather heavy and direct to steer. I hope I can get the feel right, as I have in GTL.

Anyway, still fun, some screenies included.

My GTL copy arrived this morning, downloaded the mod last night and had my first go (follow the manual is a must!). I'm not sure if leaving rotation at 900 degrees is going to suit me as small corrections in a straight line require alot of input, it just doesn't feel right. Also the steering gets harder when you start to move rather than easier as it does in real life. So I'll have to turn down the FFB too.

But it looks great there's just teething problems with me just like Warren, I've never played GTL and I'm not going to install it with starforce either. I'd like to see an event someday.

Have tried it a few minutes ago, really impossible to control the car (Shelby GT) without doing the clutch manually, but that makes it harder to break because missing third foot

Sound & graphics superb, 900° rotation wheel needs some time to deal with.

Have you also tried adjusting the FFB settings in the upgrades section of the cars themselves?

And if you didn't look in the manual there is a section of FFB setup for different wheels

hmm...not really.I gave this mode just 2 days, but since its look that good i think i will try few more time.I did read somthing about FFb in manual and did what they sugested, but havent try this what Theo said.IM not used to driving with more than 340deg. of rotation they sugest puting 900deg..I never could find good ffb in rfactor, realfeel feels for me not much difrferent from defult set.Ok ill stop complaining(im know im a pain) and give few hours more for wheel setings. From first day i got rfactor i spended lots of time fixing that problem... Thanks Guyes for Your sugestions.
