Default rFactor

With my new wheel i received a copy of rFactor as well. Its only the demo of course but it was nice driving. I bit different graphics then i am used to. In cockpit you dont see a driver for intance but you see the wheel turning very strange. But the handling was good and the tracklayout was nice.
Thinking of purchasing the full game now. Is it worth to buy?

Of course it is worthy, lot of good mods lot of good tracks. When I'm not driving Race I drive rF.
Every few days a new mod is released, that's like you have new game.
I'm surprised that you haven't got the game yet.

If you get it, you'll love it. If you have a good internet connection you shouldn't find it a problem getting on top of the mods. The game will ALWAYS stay new. Because new mods come out every week. TEAMFOG has our own private download area with high speeds, so we got it covered!! Yeehaaaw. Stiggy is getting RFACTOR!!

lol i didnt say i am gonna get it i dont believe it stay new for ever.. the gameplay is not as good as RACE or GTR2 is. So if they can manage to update the game engine then it will be a game forever.
But, nevertheless, for now it looks good

when you say gameplay, are you talking about rfactor offline? because yes, it is crap offline. but Online IT IS THE BEST GAME EVER. it has no lag, most servers all have a ping of under 150, our TEAMFOG server has a 90 ping, so noone has lag on our servers

You should try the FIA GT Championship mod for rFactor (Converted from GTR2), the handling is sooooooooooo much smoother. It's just way more fun the GTR2 itself!

Also check the "Hall of Fame" made by rFactorCentral. Only the best mods deserve the "Hall of Fame".
http://www.rfactorcentral.com/hall_of_fame.cfm

There are 90 different car mods available, 179 addon tracks and there are a total of 137 wip mods. So take a look at www.rFactorCentral.com!

Is it worth to buy: Yes.
In a free online magazine (AutoSimsport), there was an interview with on of the guys at ISI, and he said that it's a very good possible thing that we can see a rFactor 2 with DirectX 10 graphics!

And the (IMO) best Formula 1 car ever made in a videogame is in rFactor!

RACE uses an almost 100% editted isiMotor 2.0, and because of all the particles you see when you crash in RACE it looks more real life. But it is actually the same. Bumpers and wings can fly of, but no cracks in the windshield etc.
And dont forget the engine the rFactor uses is 1,5 years old.

Your wrong. rFactor has been going for about 2 years now. It has gained MORE players since it was first introduced. The number of players are increasing! It is estimated to last 5 more years if the mod creators are willing to go that far (god bless you guys), I think maybe even more if more people start playing it. Do you really think GTR2 or Race are going to last 7 years? Or 2 years for that matter? For free? No they won't, rFactor will.

Besides, if you go on dedicated servers, they are LAG FREE. Bumper to bumper around every corner. No warping, no disappearing, just fair clean racing all the way around. Imagine that RPM, no lag, ohhhhhhh, isn't that what you want? Lol.

When you kick someone, they will be IP banned and you will never see them again in that server! Cool, eh?

So I agree with Tim H, it is bloody awesome. Over 70% of TeamFOG own this game. So what are you waiting for? Go download it!

I fully agree its a great game. And no i dont have the idea that simbin products are updated for free forever. But i dont think that anygame can last for ever and ever. Can they upgrade the game-engine via downloads?
But i am not anti-rFactor Mike. Maybe i would like it a lot when i play it online (1000s do so it must be good). But for now i simply dont have the time, because i play two other games which give me joy
