Guys, TURN OFF FORCE FEEDBACK! NOW!!!!
I did it, check the Curitiba hotlap post in few minutes for the result.... i made it after full 10 laps practise with the new setting, and i am sure this is not the limit yet..... I just disabled in Windows/game controllers the force feedback, and enabled the centering spring, did not change anything else setting, also in the game i did not change anything.

I am in 1.23 on Curitiba now, i use left foot brake again, maybe i can go a bit faster without the FFB too. But i guess FFB helps me to feel when the car brakes out. |

|
i thought the same, but in fact it is not the case. I even feel now better what the car will do, and i am simply faster.

There is also an upgrade available for the brake pedal, with which they say the pedal not just gets a totally progressive forces, but also that strong force, like in the real race car, however needs some homework to assemble it.... lol
Answer from ECCI i got related to my question to this feature: For someone who is truly into race car driving the Race Brake kit offers incredible control and realism in braking. The Race Brake kit offers sim racing braking that is as "real world" as it gets. For someone who simply enjoys using racing simulations it could be undesirable due to the high progressivity (very sensitive near the end of travel) and very high pressures required. Installation instructions are at: http://www.ecci.net/instructions/PMB2RaceBrake.htm

You can call me crazy (with full right....), but the shipment with the 6000 GTS system is going to arrive to my home hopefully next weekend.... loooool
You can prepare yourself for a full 6 page review, i feel i will have some things to say about it.... ![]() I ordered it with this 290mm wheel with 6 extra buttons, the others were simply too big, and the suede of the momo i do not like, by time it will wear out, and will become hard touch. ![]() Another great thing that basically you can assemble later any wheel what you can buy in the tuning shops, just needs to be the 5 screw version, not the 6, and have to take care for the size because of the butterfly shifters, that they still fit with the wheel.

real...? eh, what it is...? lol
and about the G25, it is really a masterpiece of wheel in its category, but since i started to get a feeling how much more joy is to drive without FFB, i think this wheel will be the ultimate solution for me. If you turn off the ffb on a convencional electromotor wheel, just one very single non-progressive force will remain, the centering spring. This is a compromize, with not having the disturbance of the delayed FF effect, which makes you slower (yes, it is lagging, but after a while you dont even realize it, because your brain corrects it when you get used to it, just like for the very young babies, they see everything upside down, but their brains flip the picture). So, i decided to continue without FF effects, and in this category this wheel is really the Rolls Royce, creating fully adjustable mechanical grip effects, you can adjust separately the strength progressivity towards the end of the turning, centering force, sensitivity, it has 1000 point detailed sensitivity for movement in the pedals, also adjustable progressive strengths for the break, pre-load strengths, and so on and so on... So this is the wheel about absolute precisity and perfectionism about wheel and car control in sim racing, and yes, i will be able to live without having a delayed shake on the wheel when riding onto a curb.... lol If you want to know more about FF contra non FF, you can read lot of good discussions over sim forums, like this one on RSC, with the opinions of ECCI owners, who previously was using FF wheels, professional race drivers, etc etc... believe me i studied over the weekend everything i could possibly read over the net about this topic, before making a decision to spend so much on an adult toy.... ![]() http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=273020 and also you can read there about the top class FF wheel on the market today, the VPP wheel, where just the wheel is costing even more money then the complete ECCI system with pro pedals, and you can read there, that the VPP wheel owners are not really that seemlessly happy with their baby.... http://forum.rscnet.org/showthread.php?t=280239 and again, maybe for more money you got here more perfect adaptation of shaking effects, but still they are and will always lag......
