Default Driving Force Pro Pedals

My pedals are starting to get really nasty on the inside, alot of dust and dirt as accumulated over the last 6 months. Does anybody have a good tutorial on taking them apart and cleaning them out?

Also, has anybody tried the G25 pedals with the DFP?

Thanks!

Have you tried using some compress air to loosen the dust and then using a vaccum cleaner to remove the dust?

I've tried the can of air yes, but the opening between the pedal and base is too small to stick a vacuum hose into. Although I hadn't thought of it. Just tried it though.

I think i would rather buy this than new frex.About 600deg.rotation is enough for me.It works with regular logitech drivers, has suport for vista (frex not yet) and its much more clear what you need for it to work.
The biggest minus is that you have to wait that long for it-i think at least 6months....
Maybe someone had oportunity to try this wheel and could say few words about it???????

DFP if you can, try eBay if your not too worried. Otherwise I paid £72 for mine delivered 6 months ago. I now want a G25, especially after using one today

I started with Formula force ex (red logi) and i have to say it was good choice as for the first wheel.I was using it for only one month, and then beacouse i had money, i bought g25.I must say my times improved much after switching from keyboard to Formula f ex but not that much after sitching from it to g25.It has only 180 deg of rotation and isnt that solid like g25 but for the first wheel its really good choice. You wont get anything better for the price of 60euros(that how much i found it in Poland),it has pretty good FFB.
You can alsow serch for used DFP on ebay, but i would prefer buing new one with 3years waranty.Good luck

P.S.Ofcourse if You manage to get more money,go for new DFP but if not dont be afraid to buy Formula force ex.

I just retired mine. I must say in the beginning I was happy with it, but I had to retire it because the wheel wore off. I used it for about 1.5 year and I am definitively not a poweruser at least not in the beginning (not enough time for that). Guess I used it less than a year intensively.
The wheel itself got loose. Driving was like stearing with a sponge.

I just got a new G25, believe it or not, on my first rounds in Barcelona with a Mini, after I got used to the new Pedals I was 2 seconds faster than with the EX. (I was that slow yes, am still slow, but 2 seconds was really impressive, and I am not talking about 100 rounds, I am talking about something like 10).

I know the G25 cost shit lot of money, but I personnaly would hope it lasts maybe longer than 2 or 3 years (I am now more intensively using it) and then it would have payed of compared to the old EX one.

I recently purchased one of these as i could not stretch to the more expensive wheels, i find it does the job for me of course it is no G25 but then again it dont have the price tag but seems pretty well built.

For the price tag i could not find anything that matched it and the reviews i have read where all good, ony problem i had with this wheel was finding it in stock as this was a challenge but Play.com have it in stock £50 and that is where i purchased from and quick delivery to.

You can find some reviews over at overclockers.co.uk where there is nothing but praise.

Hope that helps

Default Logitech wingman formula force configuration

hi guys, i didn't know where to post my thread to get some help for my wheel so i thought maybe that was a good place. ok to start i will give you some info about my pc and my wheel, its a p4 dual core 2,33 2gegs of ram, an asus 8800gt 512meg ram, an asus p5e-vm do motherboard and i'm running under windows XP home edition SP2. heres the problem i have, i want to be able to use the gas and the brake pedal on a different axes, in the control panel of the controler its set for that and when i test it it work just fine there, when i go in race 07 and try it the gas pedal is always in full throttel and when i use the brake the car stop. so i'm wondering what i'm doing wrong or if its not just possible to do with this wheel ? can somebody have a clue ? oh and also my force feedback is not working either i'm wondering if its because its simply too old and not working anymore or if a problem with XP ?

thanks in advance for the help

Default Logitech Formula Force Problem

Just been playing GP4 and force feedback seems to be damaging my wheel as the wheel itself is gradually getting looser from the base. I bought it from amazon and its still under warranty so I should I send it back and get a replacement?
Anyone else had this problem?
