I've checked and rechecked GMT: Greenwich Mean Time - World Time / Time in every Time Zone.

At this particular moment is 9:14 (21:14) GMT.

At my local time it should have started at 1:00 a.m. (22:00 GMT) in about 45 minutes. I've miss-understood actually.

Off, I was only late 5 min. Watching the rest of 25 min. of official qualifying passing by without being able to join was so hard.

Looking forward to next event and I hope you guys had a lot of fun.

Qualification is closed, to avoid possible lag problems during it.

We will make some actions to avoid people making qualy and race sessions before official practise starts, to allow everybody to join the server when they want.

More news will follow on this.

It should be always Closed Qualify for League events. But this requires that Admins must be present on the Event day to ensure that the Rooms stay in practise as long as the official event starts!

As for room 3 & 4 I have to apologize. I wasn´t aware of the situation as i´ve never hosted Race07 before. For the next time i´ll be aware of it and there should be no problem to avoid this dilemma about locked servers during qualify!

But also this is a REMINDER to all participants of course!

If you guys are practising long before the event starts, please LEAVE the server or vote to restart practise whenever the server is in Qualify or Race mode! This is and should be a Gentlemen Agreement to ensure that everyone has a chance to practise with friends until the official event starts.

Thank you!

I could join in Istanbul at 22:35 or something. And some time later, Bram disconnected (I think) and reconnected too, so I was a bit shocked that I couldn't join now.

I've never experienced lag problems in quali caused by people joining
And what about people disconnecting during quali, and they can't reconnect and like in my case, I cannot just leave my work.

Ofcourse I understand that you want everyone to be there during practise, but sometimes this is impossible, and I really hope you open the server during quali for the reasons I mentioned above. I think we can make some kind of gentlemen agreement that everyone tries to be there during practise already.

Stirb, I'm not sure I understand fully??
The scheduled Practice starts at 20:00 GMT. Did you just misunderstand the nominated start time and arrive too late, or did you get prevented from joining practice??
Practice should have finished at 20.30 GMT, but you can't join during Qualy, as pointed out by Sascha.

And yes, we have to sort out some issues with people joining for early practice before the event, and then leaving the session at Qualy or Race, thus preventing anyone else from joining.
I thought we had all servers available by the nominated practice time though.

At Istanbul, Bram simply forgot to switch closed qualy on and only realised when it wasn't practical to restart the servers, don't read anything more into it than that.

I have had this messages also in the past with both the RSC and the RaceDepartment versions of GPCos.

As a responsible pipo for this part of service I unfortunately have not yet got the time to look into it.

Its on my future things to do list, but no priority yet. I am also sure the system works good apart from this. So for the moment, just ignore the error message and continue

Hello Warren!

I've miss-understood the scheduled time for the race.
It was CET time, not GMT as I thought it was.

I've joined at 9:35 CET, 8:35 GMT, 11:35 my local time. I was sure it's 1 h 35 min before official race but I was wrong. I was not able to enter the server the next 25 min. official qualifying.

Bugger, you missed out by 5 mins.
Well hopefully you won't get caught again. You must join before Qualy starts.
Always check the Format and Schedule Docs before each race, just in case it ever changes. Unlikely, but just in case something happens when the European daylight saving time stops again.

Here in South Africa it will take place at 11 @ night. Bit late if you got work
on monday morning. Say 1 @ 2pm and 1 @ 11pm, or something in that
region. Any thoughts!!!!!!!

The message would be "can't join in qualification", which is correct. For League events (and we use the same league settings for this event), you must join during Practice mode. This is to avoid the problem of people having lag issues or hitting invisible cars during Qualy.

It is explained fully in the league Rules Docs.

I can understand the frustration. However, I'm not sure that this suggestion will help too much. What if it drops out during the 5 min warm up. It's usually just a matter of luck (bad luck admittedly) when it happens.

Hmm hard one, but I think I prefer Anderstorp. It is so different compared to other circuits.
