I would like to join a WTCC league for RACE 07. I just bought the game yesterday and have the standard version. Are any upgrades for the game required to compete (patches, cars, tracks etc?) And how do I register for a championship? I am not 100% about competing at all rounds due to lack of time, but a private entry would suit me better.

(valve being optional...that depends if you have half life 2 installed or any other valve games before race07)

Also here directly below the forum banner, is a link called "Hotlaps" in the blue bar. Just clickt it, and you will be presented with a nice page with hotlap times from every racing-class.
Here you'll also find the link to the WTCC-league livetiming

yes the official way to get to prequally times is going to

Timing.RaceDepartment.com - The Next Generation Racing Community

In the menu bar on top you will see league prequally links.
Once inside the PreQually stats you will also have an option to see live who is on track.
The normal PreQually stats is updated once every hour.

hi guys
i was just wandering i know u have to pre qual for the race on saturday but is it possilbe to enter the race without qual the problem is i am a lorry driver and sometimes i get home once a week tuesday or wednesday but we are so busy at work i cant get home till friday then the qual if finished is it possile to enter me in group 4. as i say there is no harm in asking

Have to wait an offical answer from the race admin team, but I would have thought they would let you participate, but you would be put down as last of everyone.

so if more than 100 drivers qualify and your 101 you would be in the non points scoring group 5.

See what they say I reckon.

Hey Simon,

Shitty situ, theoretically only pre-qualified people can enter the races, although in special cases i think we can always find a solution which is good for everybody...

I would say if less then 100 people pre-qualifies, then in this case you can enter as last pre-qualified to the group 4 race.
