Please note that all times are listed in GMT, and it is the drivers responsibility to make any necessary conversions to their local timezone, including any Daylight Saving Time adjustment.

If you have qualified yourself for the race on saturday but you can't make it. You must send an e-mail 24 hours before the start of the practice session to: absences@racedepartment.com

People who will not report on time or will not report at all will be removed from the league without further notice! Do not send your absence in a private message on the forum!

Update:

Important notice to all Competitors in Groups 1 to 4 at Istanbul.

We have had a number of people who were listed in the final pre-qualified groups for Istanbul (Groups 1 to 4), but who didn't race in the event, and didn't submit an absense report as per the League Rules.

The Rules are very clear:

"Absence
30. If a driver has signed up for a league but cannot be present at a certain event he is kindly requested not to qualify in pre-qualification. If the driver has already qualified for the event, or if there is no pre-qualification, he must report his absence to the Race Direction at least 24 hours before the event.
31. If, for whatever reason, the driver could not report his absence in time he is requested to do this as soon as possible after the deadline, but always before the next event. In the meantime the driver is automatically disqualified for the next event, until he reports his absence for the previous event."

This is the final warning. Any pre-qualified competitor who does not submit an absense report as specified will be excluded from the next round.
Each person must submit their own absense.

We will not be reminding people for future rounds.

1) HOW TO SIGN UP FOR WTCC

Those drivers who joined our League now, after the first round at Istanbul passed already, unfortunately we can not offer the possibility to drive and register at GPCOS under their own custom team, since every team had to make a custom skin for this League.

So for new drivers the option to join the League is under Single drivers team, for which the skins are provided already from the beginning for all the cars, and is included in the skin pack here:

Please all new racers:
1 - First register yourself at RD GPCOS
2 - After validation is done make application to drive in the RD Single Drivers Team in the WTCC League. You can do it from your Personal Control Center, click on Request a drive to join an existing team in an existing league

Do not forget to enter your ingame name exactly as in the game at your GPCOS profile, this must be your real name as well.

Every driver is mandatory to drive both on the pre-qualy and the Races itself in the official League skin, either from their team if they are part of a separate one, or the Single driver skin.
Default skins, and custom skins not included in the skin pack are not allowed to drive in the servers.

Any new team requests at GPCOS will be denied because of the reason above.

For the Saturday race we will change the password, which you will be able to find in your Personal Control Center at GPCOS. Only drivers who joined the League in GPCOS will be able to see it, sharing the password with other people is strictly forbidden, and will result in exclusion from the League.


2) CHECK YOUR PROFILES



Please make sure before you enter the races in our leagues you update your GPCOS profile correctly.

1. Go to gpcos.racedepartment.com
2. Click control center
3. Click maintain user profile
4. Look for the box called RACE07 name:
5. Fill in the exact same name as your real name you registered with at GPCOS (see image, do not fill in my name)
6. Open RACE 07 and check if you have created a profile with exact the same name as your GPCOS profile
7. All drivers that will start this saturday with a wrong driver profile in the game or in GPCOS will not get any points rewarded by the Race Direction

However, many people are not supplying all of the needed information as requested, which makes it very difficult for the Race Directors.

From Round 3 & 4 onwards, any incident report not including the following information, will be ignored.

"78. An incident report must contain the following information:
- Group number
- Race number
- Involved drivers or car numbers
- Time of the incident (the replay time in seconds)
- Short description of the incident
The incident report is expected to be written in a calm tone. Offensive and frustrated reports will be discarded."
