I've made 8 laps in total with a 1.41.2 as result. No need for me to dig in deeper into this track because i wont be here this weekend for the races.

I hope you guys have a good pair of races this weekend!

1.41.8xx so far. I'm aiming for a 1.40.xxx. It could be posible with some tweaking of the car. I think G1 will be hard to reach this time, but we'll see.

In 1 of my first laps I drove a 1.41.010.
Tried a lot more laps to go in to the 1.40, but it will not work today... maybe tomorrow. Hope 1.41.010 is enough for group 1.

And Atti, you will always be in group 1

can i have your lap time bram... i think it loves me... :p

Managed a 1:42:101 this far, kept doing constant 1:42:2xx's and i couldn't get it quicker lol.

Only time i did go quicker i messed up the rest of the lap which meant instead of the possible 1:41:8xx i could have got i got the lap time above^

I can imagine Jacco sitting at the door of Valencia circuit, waiting the admins to open the doors with the first light of the morning...

I took a while to go under 1:41 for some reason today, when trying the online prequally and then the times kept coming down fractionally which is showing me that I'm prolly one of the few ppl struggling with the grip on the BMW. I'm just OK for the one lap stints but my race pace suffers greatly from wear and probably over zealous driving technique. I hope to get the time down another 3-4 tenths as I can definitely see the time lost. Once again everyone might be racing for 2nd, still is saw Scott Michaels put in a great effort on the V-WTCC board so I'd watch for him at the top too.

Valencia is a different beast compared to Istanbul theres a good chance of more incident reports being filed just because of the closeness of the track.

yepp, i have the same feeling. To make sure group 1 you should run 1:40, maybe a very low 1:41 will do as well.

Wish I had more time to practice wtcc and this track. Maybe I can do some more laps today. I set a new PB last night 42.5 went faster a couple of laps later only to loose the rear at the final turn and ending up with a 42.5 again. a 41 should be possible though

I think it will be group 2 for me this time.

a. Haven't done one 40 with the Chevy yet
b. Not much time for prequalifying this week .

I've been hopping between using a Bram and Atti setups i have, both setups are very very good for me,but for me to break into the 140's will require some extra pushing, and probably some of that "1 magic lap luck" that Peter E is looking for .

Got a 1:43:0 but not good enough yet. Will need another half a second or so to get in group 4

atm i be with a 1.42.7xx at grid place 97 so it will be not enough
and i dont see me go faster

Thats just the beauty of such a high pressure pre qual system Michael, you just dont see going faster possible, yet somehow we all do,everytime, stretching those PB times a little bit better than we think possible, its starting to look like this is going to be as insane and tight as Istanbul.

I predict it will be even more tighter this time as we all knew what it took to make it to the grid the last time...

Kind regards,
