take it easy, Mickel, it might be better to win a race in group2 than to end up 19th in group1. Look at it this way!

That said, he would get more points for 19th in Group 1 than a win in Group 2

Practise makes the master! So Greger, get to work with your 3 laps....
I've looked at the final number of laps and Mikael and Kristofer is top of the list with over 600 laps together.
The BFR team have put up an impressive 1200 laps all together within the team.:blueflag::drive:

I just summoned the courage to go look at the timings again for the final round up,and its looking like a tight scrape into G2,very very happy with this progression moving up a group from Istanbul, who knows, maybe i will get a run around the back of G1 before its all over :drunk:.

Yes of course You can be pleased to drive at Saturday (when the final group thingy is presented by our dear race directors.

PS. to all:
Get rid of aliasses/nicknames in GPCos and Race07 profile names. During Istanbul we have helped a lot to change and keep an eye closed to let some times stay, and some not.
During Valencia Prequal again nicknames show up. We have ignored them and they will be removed from the list, no time, no driving in the race.

If you don't know how to do/change your name correctly, just ask any admin/racedirector on this forum. Plenty of people willing to help.

Thanks for reading.

Oh my pre-qual attempts Did 6 laps to get 1.42.0 when my PC crashed.... again!
Yesterday (last night) I did 18 laps till my PC crashed. 1.41.7x at that moment.

But my place will be open again No time to drive this weekend. Have fun all!

I've got a cold this week and have been home from work. That's why I had time for all those laps But what did that help??? Just driving slower and slower....must have worn out my car by now I guess. :brancard:

Yes...last place in group 1 gives more points than having to struggle for a win in group 2. Really close there too!! But it's not the end of the world

There are a lot of fast drivers out of group 1, so sure it is not the end of the world. It will be a hard fight in every group, because there are only 2 seconds from P1 to P100. Crazy! :drunk: :brancard: :ambulance:

Had to miss the first race on Istanbul.

I had a lot of problems to reach a 1.40.
After about 200 laps, I finally made a 1.40.8.
I am very happy to be in group 1, because all times are really close.
Really looking forward to the race of tomorrow.

Set a PB and got into group 3 :brancard: the shock has sent me into a coma

I am going to have to start listing Valencia as my favourite track [as I do my best lap times here].

Thats a real pitty there would have been quite the jostling around upfront with the BMWs, regardless this new and 'improved' field will make competition the toughest it has ever been. Lets hope for a clean fun race.
