Will Greger break into the 1:38-s or will it be a "simple" 1:39 from him....?

p.s.: my time is a modest 1:40.6 so far.... i very much hope it is enough for group 1, because not too much left inside, theoretical perfect lap is 1:40.4 for me atm

My pb is a 1.40.992 ... but that is with the Honda, lol. Need to get some practise with the Chevy to get on the pace.

Same for me.
1.40.9 PB but can not get much higher, perfect lap for me would be a 1.40.5.
Also hope it is enough for group 1
And I think greger will drive a low 1.39

Is there an exception from cutting corners rules, applied to last corner in Valencia ?

there is one general rule: 2 wheels on the track all the time, and do not touch the grass in any condition.

I have never really practiced much at Valencia so will need to hit the server as soon as its up. I hope for a low-to-mid 1:43 at the least maybe with a bit of luck a few consitent 1:42's

must remain standing after you passed by NEXT to them... :drunk: well, almost in every case... lol uphill chicane exit cones can be flying i guess, since if you are 2 wheels on the track you hit them still.

what about the tight left hander about half way around - between turn 8 and 9. I usually run wide there sometimes but if anything you lose a bit of time by going wide over the cones.

cones

yep, if you bust those cones you're usually in trouble, same for the ones after the uphill kink. Both lines are outside the groove, so hitting cones means you're losing time, wouldn't make sense to give an extra penalty for that, it's penalty enough.

oh and just to remind everyone of Valencia's nicest spot (how to miss the cones ...):

I would be happy qualifying in group 1, and then winning both races.

nah, finally pulled a normal lap together all the way, 1:40.410, not too much remained in that lap unfortunately, few hundreds maybe, max 0.1 sec, i do not see at the moment how to go faster for 1:39 with the Chevy...

Hi there

Always 2 wheels at the track.

In that case we should not cross the white line (pit-line) with all wheels when you enter T1.

Am I correct?

It wouldnt be managed since thats what they do in real life no?

Atti: 40.4 is 2tenths quicker than I am atm, I really cannot come to grips with the car after the patch and its getting frustrating, the grip has changed so much imo.

Well...I always stay with 2 wheels on the right side if that line...not hard at all. But of course my laptimes could be faster. 1.41.000 so far.

Does any one already knows if it is allowed to cross the white lane for T1?
